Katie Vogel

Born and raised in rural North Carolina, Katie Vogel received her BFA in Writing with a double minor in Performance Studies and Power Dynamics in Learning from Pratt Institute. Like the material and literary legacies of women writers, artists, and makers from which her work draws, her writing takes many forms.

Her work has appeared in or is forthcoming from BlazeVOX, Mootpoint Magazine, and elsewhere. Her first chapbook, "The Awakening" is available through Bottlecap Press. Her work has received support from Orein Artists Residency and the Mutual Aid Society.
